Join the UNM College of Nursing for Research & Scholarship Day, featuring a keynote address by Daniel E. Dawes, J.D., on “Preparing the Next Generation of Health Equity Leaders.”
The event will bring together students, faculty, staff, and colleagues from across the University to explore the breadth of research and scholarship taking place throughout the College. In addition to the keynote, the program will feature faculty research spotlights, student lightning talks, and a poster session highlighting emerging work from PhD and DNP students.
Whether you are developing your own scholarship program, supporting research and scholarly activity, or simply interested in the work happening across the College, Research & Scholarship Day offers an opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate our research community.

Daniel E. Dawes is a nationally respected health policy and health equity leader, educator, researcher, and bestselling author. He has played a significant role in shaping major federal health legislation and is an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine. His work examines how political and social conditions shape health and how leaders can translate policy into meaningful improvements for communities.
