The Grief Services Program is currently establishing a statewide network of licensed mental health professionals, known as Filed Trauma Contractors (FTCs) who are contracted to provide grief support and advocacy to families dealing with the traumatic death of a loved one. The goals of this contractual agreement are to reach survivors quickly and provide grief support, assist them in a variety of support and advocacy related activities.
Families are assigned to FTCs from the Grief Services Program in Albuquerque and are paid an established fee per session, paid for travel to provide home visits, and paid for training related to OMI clients. Contractors must:
