Confidentiality Agreements

What is a confidentiality agreement?

CDAs (Confidential Disclosure Agreements) are short contracts governing the transfer of confidential information between UNMHSC investigators and outside entities. CDAa may cover incoming information, outgoing information, or both. Either companies or non-profit organizations ("providers") may require an CDA before they will share their information. CDAs must be signed by the Senior Associate Dean for Research to make them valid.

Who Should I Contact about CDAs?

If you are providing information related to an invention disclosed to the Science and Technology Corporation, contact them at 505-272-7900. Otherwise, contact Nancy Carr at 505-272-0157. A draft agreement in MS Word format and contact information, preferably an email address, will be needed.

Who Signs CDAs?
