College of Nursing (CON)

The UNM College of Nursing has determined its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) curriculum and its affiliate programs meets the educational requirements for professional licensure or certification in all states.

The UNM College of Nursing has determined its Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) curriculum and its affiliate programs meets the educational requirements for professional licensure or certification in all states.

The UNM College of Nursing has determined its Post-Master's Certifications (PMC) curriculum meets the educational requirements for professional licensure or certification in all states. 

The UNM College of Nursing has determined its Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) curriculum and its affiliate programs meets the educational requirements for professional licensure or certification in all states.

 

School of Medicine (SOM)

The UNM School of Medicine has determined its MD and Health Profession programs meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in all states.

 

College of Pharmacy (COP)

The UNM College of Pharmacy has determined its curriculum its affiliate programs meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in New Mexico. The Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program is accredited through the national standards through the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

 

Dental Hygiene (RDH-BSDH)

The UNM Division of Dental Hygiene has determined its Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene (BSDH) and Master of Science in Dental Hygiene (MSDH) curriculum meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in all states.

 

Emergency Medical Services Academy (EMSA)

The UNM Emergency Medical Services Academy has determined its EMR/First Responder, EMT/EMT-Basic, AEMT/EMT-Intermediate and Paramedic levels of curriculum delivered in association with all EMS Academy sponsored courses throughout the state meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in New Mexico.

The EMS Academy has not determined whether its curriculum at the EMR/First Responder, EMT/EMT-Basic, AEMT/EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic levels meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in any other states. 

 

Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS)

The UNM Medical Laboratory Sciences has determined its curriculum meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in New Mexico. The UNM Medical Laboratory Sciences has not determined whether its curriculum meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in any other states.

 

Occupational Therapy (OT)

The UNM Masters of Occupational Therapy has determined its curriculum meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in all states.

 

Physical Therapy (PT)

The UNM Division of Physical Therapy has determined its curriculum meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in New MexicoOur curriculum is accredited by CAPTE meets the educational requirements to sit for the NPTE licensure exam in each individual state within the U.S. A graduate of our program is eligible for licensure in Texas, Delaware, Hawaii, et cetera.

 

Physician Assistant (PA)

The UNM Physical Assistant Program has determined its curriculum meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in New Mexico.

 

Radiologic Sciences (RS)

The UNM Radiologic Sciences program in Computed (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) has determined its curriculum meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in all states. Our students complete the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) board certification, which is the organization that provides credentialing for imaging professionals such as radiologic technologists.

The UNM Radiologic Sciences program, concentration Nuclear Medicine has determined its curriculum meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in all states. Our students complete the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) board certification, which is the organization that provides credentialing for imaging professionals such as radiologic technologists. In addition, our program strongly encourages our graduates to complete board certification in the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification board (NMTCB). Students who graduate the program statistically complete both board certifications, and at least one or both are recognized in states throughout America.
