Program Assistant, Student
Leyabah (or Leya) is Navajo and from Gallup, New Mexico. She is Bit’ahnii (Folded Arms People), Tó’áhání (Near-to-Water Clan), Tsé’ Nahabiłnii (Sleep-Rock People), and Naaneesht’ézhí (Charcoal-Streaked Division). Leya is currently one of CNAH’s student Program Assistants. She is completing her Bachelor’s degree in History, with a concentration in Native American History, and is in the process of applying to law school. After law school, Leyabah aspires to become a legal advocator for the Native American people.
