The University of New Mexico College of Nursing is recruiting an Assistant Dean of Faculty Practice. The Assistant Dean will be responsible for establishing, growing, and maintaining CON’s clinical business infrastructure, supporting faculty practice contracts, and creating revenue-generating clinical services. In collaboration with CON Chief Financial Officer, this role ensures financial feasibility of clinical enterprises and ensures timely reporting of financial status across clinical enterprise to the Associate Dean and other required entities, addresses financial and budget concerns proactively, and serves as a key member of CON Leadership team reporting to the Associate Dean of Community and Clinical Affairs.
The Assistant Dean of Clinical Affairs is the leader responsible for overseeing clinical placement, simulation, and staff nurse educators at the College of Nursing. The position reports directly to the Associate Dean of Community and Clinical Affairs and is expected to perform with a high level of responsibility and independence.
This is a leadership position, which includes an active role with the Dean’s Administrative Leadership group; commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, interprofessional and community engagement. This person will provide a vital role in the development of nursing students in clinical programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as facilitate a culture of effective mentorship. The incumbent is expected to engage in teaching, maintain an active program of scholarship, and service with a consistent record of funding support appropriate for faculty at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor (clinician educator or tenure track).
The University of New Mexico College of Nursing is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Associate Dean of Community and Clinical Affairs, providing strategic leadership in developing and refining the College’s practice mission and activities. The Associate Dean will articulate a compelling, inclusive vision for the future of nursing practice and community affairs within the CON. We are currently recruiting a faculty member for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) position. The primary focus of the position is to teach content in the PMHNP program. This is a 50% or greater full-time effort (FTE) 12-month appointment.

The University of New Mexico College of Nursing is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the ABSN Program Director. The ABSN Program Director will oversee the administration and academic aspects of the Accelerated Second Degree BSN option, which acknowledges students’ previous success as they transition to an accredited nursing program.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the oversight of the second-degree, accelerated pre-licensure BSN program
Reviews policies pertinent to the ABSN programs
Works in collaboration with the Office of Clinical Affairs to ensure clinical placements comply with program requirements
Coordinate reviews of student progression issues in collaboration with the Progression Committee and the Director of Academic Success
Monitors and reports on student assessment, progression, attrition, and degree completion data

The University of New Mexico College of Nursing is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the New Mexico Nursing Education Consortium (NMNEC) Partner Schools Director. This position will oversee the administration and academic aspects of the NMNEC Partnerships.
The mission of NMNEC is to prepare nurses for entry into practice and educational advancement through developing and sustaining a resource-efficient and unified system of accessible, innovative, and state-of-the-art nursing education.
Responsibilities:

The UNM College of Nursing is seeking Training Project Consultants to assist with the Breastfeeding Child Health and Mammary Permeability (CHAMPS) study. The purpose of this study is to learn about how milk composition contributes to a new parent’s milk supply and how, in turn, human milk affects infant health and growth. Primary responsibilities for this position include conducting and/or assisting with prenatal and postpartum lactation support groups at local clinics, conducting home visits to collect research data and biological samples, and providing in-person lactation support as needed, working up to 10 hours per week.

We are seeking a dynamic, customer-service-oriented individual who can manage and adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment. This position coordinates, oversees, and/or performs support activities on behalf of the Associate Deans. Serves as primary point of administrative contact for internal and external constituents, often on complex and confidential issues. Oversees and/or participates in the coordination and completion of special projects. Maintains a professional demeanor at all times with internal and external constituents is paramount. Will serve on a variety of committees as the minute taker and/or moderator of online and in-person meetings.
Responsibilities:
Proactively review and triage Associate Deans’ outlook calendars.
Organize and coordinate meetings and special events on behalf of the Associate Deans, including the preparation of speaking points. As a representative of the Office of the Associate Deans, this individual must have the ability to prioritize and triage matters of importance.
Coordinate and manage conferences and meetings on behalf of the Associate Deans, including budget planning and utilization of funds, logistics, agendas, and travel arrangements for both external and internal constituents.
Monitor, reconcile and assist with fiscal administration, including travel, purchasing and leave reporting.
Compose and proofread correspondence.
