To cover the operational costs of REDCap, a fee structure has been determined for all REDCap projects and will be effective starting July 1, 2022. The initial cost to setup a single project, or single site study project will be $100. The initial cost to setup a multi-site project will be $200.

STEP 2: Upon receipt of the confirmation email, click the link to open REDCap and complete the Billing Form.
STEP 3: Upon verification of your index, you will receive a confirmation email that you can start to build your RedCap project.
If you are new to RedCap, we recommend watching our RedCap Training Videos. Our RedCap specialists are available during normal business hours via email if you have questions.
CTSC has a free REDCap Sandbox just for practice! For all HSC faculty, staff, and students simply login with your HSC credentials. The sandbox will be cleared every few weeks.
REDCap services by CTSC staff will be charged at the rate of $50/hour for UNM and HSC faculty, staff, and students. A minimum charge of 1/2 hour per service request applies. Services include (but are not limited to):
Contact the CTSC REDCap support team at HSC-CTSCREDCap@salud.unm.edu to obtain an estimate for your project. You need to provide the following information for the CTSC Services MOU.
Billing will be done at the end of the month the service was provided.
TIP: Before you submit, obtain a billing index. Check with your Dept. Administrator about obtaining an index.
REDCap is highly customizable using custom programming (as in the writing of specialized code), however, the REDCap Administrator is not able to offer these services at this time. Please ask the REDCap Team about what you need – they may be able to assist.
Renewal of REDCap Accounts will no longer be required. When an HSC faculty, staff, or student leaves the institution, their credentials will no longer access REDCap.
Project owners will be required to keep their project updated with users who are allowed to see project data.
Affiliate users will no longer need to renew their REDCap account. HSC credentials expire yearly, so HSC IT will need to reinstate HSC credentials as needed.
Projects can (and should) be tested while in development status, but must be moved to production before collecting research data.
