The University of New Mexico Health & Health Sciences Office for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion has developed a comprehensive Roadmap for the recruitment of a diverse clinical, academic, research and leadership health professions workforce. Improving and enhancing diversity, equity and inclusion in recruitment and hiring practices strengthens our institutional commitment to developing a health care workforce that reflects the diverse communities of New Mexico and is prepared to meet our community's healthcare, and education needs. Although it is recognized that each entity has specific needs as it relates to successful recruitment, this Roadmap includes strategies that can be uniformly utilized by all.
