Commitment 

Commitment varies based on your availability 

• Minimum of 32 lab hours or 36 to 48 clinical hours  

• Many instructors take on up to 78 hours 

• We aim to match your area of expertise, time preference and facility preference 

• Hiring occurs three times a year: spring, summer and fall semesters 

Responsibilities 

• Provide clinical Instruction in skills labs and clinical settings, following UNM College of Nursing policies 

• Facilitate active learning for students in clinical environments  

• Support student learning during slower periods by creating additional learning opportunities  

• Follow guidelines set by the course coordinator 

• Conduct clinical site visits 

• Complete student evaluations
