Current research interests include the embodiment of maternal early life adversity and toxic stress as it relates to maternal health outcomes, fetal programming and offspring health outcomes across the life span.
It is important to elucidate the biobehavioral mechanisms that underlie this response in order to understand risk and resilience factors to inform future identification, prevention and intervention strategies.
