Public health needs passionate leaders like you more than ever. Take your career to the next level by earning a Master of Public Health at UNM. Within six semesters, as a full-time student, you can be working to improve community health and well-being.
Our program requires 42 credits. You may transfer in up to 17 credits from an outside institution. Many students enroll full time to complete their MPH in six semesters. You can go at your own speed—you may take up to seven years to complete your degree.
If you are in a dual degree program, time to degree completion may vary. Talk with your MPH advisor to draft a dual degree program plan and map out specific requirements for your degrees.
All MPH students must complete a set of core courses, practicum and culminating experience. Each concentration within the MPH has its own set of required courses and electives.
