For HSC researchers interested in Proteomic services, we have formed a collaboration with UC Davis Proteomics Core Facility (PC lab).
Proteomics Core Lab
The PC lab was established in 2005 in order to deliver state-of-the-art liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS) proteomic services to researchers both on-campus at UC Davis and off-campus at other institutions.
The services they provide:
Mass spectrometry based protein identification
Identifying quantifying and identifying post-translational modifications
Quantitative proteomic profiling
Targeted proteomics
Sample preparation from a wide variety of organisms
Amino acid analysis and Edman Sequencing
The PC lab also offers classes in proteomic methods, including sample prep and data analysis, which may be of interest to those with a tighter budget in mind

Setting up billing
To pay for PC lab services you will need to create an account with the UC Davis Genome Center. By creating an account you will be able to add your financial contact information. If you have additional questions regarding payment, please contact Angie Cummins at phone: 530-754-4986, fax: 530-752-0436.
Sample timeline
The PC lab strives to provide fast turnaround on sampling. It depends on the project, but in most cases turnaround time is 5-10 days. Complicated projects, such as label free quantification, can take longer.
Shipping samples
The PC lab strongly recommends contacting them before sending samples. Please coordinate your individual shipping requirement needs directly with the lab.
