2019 Annual Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Symposium
The goal of the symposium is to have residents and fellows engage with the hospital community and leadership to share ideas to improve quality and patient safety at UNMH. This symposium will host content expert lectures, interactive multidisciplinary panels, as well as showcase the ongoing quality improvement and patient safety projects at UNMH.
- How patient safety education has evolved over the last 20 years
- Compare methods to increase faculty and trainee quality improvement and patient safety projects alignment with hospital quality goals
- Discuss how to provide quality care in low resource setting
- Describe on-going quality improvement and patient safety initiatives among other disciplines
Advance registration is encouraged. Register early to avoid disappointment. Minimum and maximum registration numbers are established for this conference. Due to limited enrollment, your registration will be confirmed.
Tuition Remission ($125)
All eligible UNM Faculty and Staff may enroll using a tuition remission. Request your Registration Form from UNM CME. Properly completed tuition remissions must accompany the registration form. Proper completion includes all required signatures. No refund or credit will be issued for non-attendance. Other HSC Faculty, Residents, Staff and Students that do not have tuition remission benefits may register at no charge. Your registration includes conference materials and lunch. Be sure to identify if you are unable to attend the networking lunch.
Please Note: UNM CME no longer accepts POs or faxed registrations with credit card information. Registration closes February 19, 2019. On site Registrations Welcome. $65 late fee will apply.
If you pre-register and cannot attend, Continuing Medical Education & Professional Development will refund tuition, less a $40.00 administrative fee, provided it is received in writing on or before February 8, 2019. No refunds will be issued after this date or for non-attendance. Conferences are subject to cancellation. In the event this conference is cancelled, UNM CME is not responsible for any airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by participants.
