  • There are various levels of written policies and procedures at UNM that provide operational guidelines for the Board of Regents, management and administration.

  • The Board of Regents' Manual sets forth policies adopted by the Board of Regents for the governance of the University of New Mexico and is a guide for the Board of Regents in carrying out its constitutional responsibility for the control and management of the University of New Mexico.

  • The University Business Policies and Procedures Manual (UBP Manual), otherwise known as "Big Red," is a reference source for institutional policies and procedures and provides guidance in the various organizations of the University responsible for carrying out administrative functions.

  • Specific policies and procedures for UNM Hospital, Human Research (HRRC), UNM Medical Group, Safety and Risks Services and the Health Sciences Center at the departmental level can be found by clicking on the links below. (Access may require a UNM password.)
