The Compliance Hotline, provided by the vendor EthicsPoint, is a third-party reporting system where employees, students, patients, vendors, and community members can report concerns at The University of New Mexico including UNM Health Sciences, UNM Hospitals, UNM Medical Group, Inc., and UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center. Concerns can be reported to the Compliance Hotline by phone or online 24/7, 365 days a year and multi-lingual translators are available.
Reports to the Compliance Hotline can be made anonymously and every concern reported is investigated. Providing as much detailed information as possible is essential for the investigation whether it is being reported anonymously or not. Reporting concerns will not jeopardize your employment or academic status and is considered a service to the University as a whole which includes all UNM Health and Health Sciences entities.
The UNM Health and Health Sciences Compliance Department is committed to a culture of ethical behavior and in keeping with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and UNM policies. We expect and count on you to share in this responsibility by reporting concerns of potential noncompliance with policy or unethical behavior. It is also expected that any instances of suspected or observed illegal activity be reported.
Speaking with your supervisor or another leader in your department is another option for reporting concerns. You can also reach out directly to the UNM Health and Health Sciences Compliance Department to discuss any concerns regarding suspected non-compliance or unethical behavior.
