Employees from the UNM Health Sciences Compliance and Privacy Offices will be hosting three-hour information booth sessions to increase awareness, foster a culture of compliance and to celebrate Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week with you.
We’ll have electronic and printed informational material, a fun game of spin-the-wheel for awesome Compliance swag, and our staff will be available for individual Q&A sessions. Following are the dates and locations for each information booth session:
Wednesday, November 4, 2026 – UNM Hospital Sandoval Campus (Café Oasis)
Thursday, November 5, 2026 – UNM North Campus (Happy Heart Bistro – outdoor)
Friday, November 6, 2026 – UNM Hospital Lomas Campus: 2ACC (Elevator Lobby)
All information booths will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., and will be geared toward staff, faculty, and clinicians.
If you completed and passed all three of the mandatory Learning Central compliance training modules for this calendar year between the timeframe of January 1, 2026 through October 25, 2026, you are automatically eligible to win a clear, stadium-approved bag filled with awesome mini prizes including a wireless charging mouse pad compatible with most android & apple mobile devices!
Automatic Eligibility Requirements:
Must be an employee of UNMH, UNMMG, SRMC, or HSC
Must Complete all three (3) of the following required annual compliance trainings/competencies between January 1, 2026 and October 25, 2026
Annual Compliance Training & Exam
Code of Conduct (or HSC Codes of Professionalism and Conduct)
Fraud, Waste, and Abuse
The deadline to complete all three trainings will be at 11:59 p.m. on October 25, 2026
Tickets:
Giveaway tickets must be physically picked up at one of our information booths scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, November 4-6, 2026.
Participants must present an employee badge to designated compliance staff so that we can confirm that all required trainings have been completed and that the corresponding exam (if applicable) was passed – this list will be generated from the Learning Central platform
Individuals cannot ask another employee to pick up a ticket on their behalf
One ticket per employee
Write your name, work email address, and phone number on the back of the ticket
A matching ticket will be given to you and you must keep this to claim your prize
Drawing
A live drawing will take place at 2:00 p.m., at each Information Booth location.
Need not be present to win
If the winners are not physically present at the time of the drawing, Compliance Office staff will connect with the individual(s) via contact information provided on the ticket to arrange pick-up or delivery of the prize
There will be a total of three winners (one for each day/location); three loaded swag bags.

Representatives from the UNM Health Sciences Center Compliance Department hosted four, three-hour information booth sessions to recognize and celebrate Compliance Week.

Compliance Module Completion Challenge
UNM Health Sciences Center (HSC) staff, faculty, and learners were challenged by the Compliance Office to complete their annual compliance-related training/competencies between October 22 through November 8, 2023.
The first 50 individuals from each of the four UNM HSC entities were eligible to receive a data blocker kit and other compliance week "swag".
We strive for a 100% completion rate before each year's end and send a huge THANK YOU to the following 2023 Challengers for their participation and for completing all required annual compliance training modules!
