Nephrology
Dr. Do was UNM faculty at the New Mexico VA Health Care System in Nephrology where she served as Section Chief of Nephrology after joining our UNM faculty more than two years ago. Dr. Do has been a very active member of the UNM SOM faculty and taught medical students, residents and fellows. In addition to her local VA leadership, Dr. Do served on VA regional and national committees focused on quality of care. Dr. Do was found deceased in her home of an apparent accident. We know her as a young and vibrant faculty member who has left us too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family. Dr. Do came to us from UTHC San Antonio and was a staff nephrologist at the South Texas VA. She will be greatly missed.
