Pediatrics 1955-2018
Dr. Knott graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1979 and earned his MD from the UNM School of Medicine in 1984. He completed his pediatric residency at UNM in 1987. After working in private practice in Santa Fe for five years, he joined the UNM Pediatric Faculty in 1995, where he worked in general pediatrics. During this time, he met his future wife Guadalupe and her two daughters Eriqaa and Danira. Dr. Knott was a strong advocate for children and families. He will be remembered for his passion for promoting childhood vaccination in New Mexico. He always remarked how he felt appreciated, and thoroughly enjoyed working with his colleagues at UNM.
