Dr. Teodora Konstantinova was a School of Medicine faculty member and New Mexico VA Medical Center attending physician. Konstantinova, who began her career at UNM in 2003 as one of the pioneering members of the New Mexico VA Hospitalist Group, dedicated her professional life to the care of our veterans and education of our residents and medical students.
When Konstantinova entered a room, her positive presence was immediately felt. Her compassion gave our veterans and their families hope and peace; her intelligence gave staff the confidence to address any clinical situation, no matter how complex; her kindness gave her students, residents and colleagues the comfort to share a laugh or discuss difficulties.
