Ross Snyder, Jr., was Professor of Child Psychiatry at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and Clinical Director of the Child and Family Services of Bernalillo County Mental Health Center. He directed the New Mexico Children's Psychiatric Unit and developed the New Mexico Juvenile First Offenders Program. During a sabbatical, he worked at the Chicago Theological Seminary's Preschool.
