Emergency Medicine Clinical

The Department of Emergency Medicine has a very broad array of clinical operations from our primary academic site at UNM Hospital to our community hospital ED at SRMC and the UNM Hospital Pediatric ED is the only dedicated children’s ED in NM. UNM is the only level 1 Trauma Center in New Mexico. We provide a majority of surgical critical care at UNM Hospital through the EM/CC team and manage the adult ECMO program. Clinical operations begin in the field with the EMS Consortium and Lifeguard Flight programs. Please explore some of our featured clinical programs below.
