The UNM Division of Prehospital, Austere, and Disaster medicine consists of paramedic, advanced practice provider and physician faculty, fellows, and residents with an interest in delivering high levels of medical care outside the walls of the hospital. Our Division plays an active administrative and operational role in emergency medical services throughout the State and beyond, working with amazing partner agencies in a wide variety of traditional and unique prehospital settings. We are proud to help educate the next generation of EMS providers, educators, administrators and medical directors as well as contributing to the research supporting optimal prehospital care.
