Medical School: University of New Mexico School of Medicine |
I was born in the distinctive and beautiful state of New Mexico. I earned bachelor's degrees in both Studio Art and Biochemistry at the University of New Mexico. After living in Boston for four years, conducting research in pathology at the Dana Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and Massachusetts General Hospital, I was able to return home to my beloved Sandia Mountains and hometown of Albuquerque to complete my Medical Degree At UNM. I am beyond happy to be continuing my training as a Lobo, as it will prepare me to pursue my passions for broad spectrum Family Medicine, rural and community healthcare, and social justice. And above all, I am honored to work with such an awesome group of residents. Outside of medicine, I enjoy exploring our mountains, rivers, and opportunities for fort-building with my daughter and husband.
