Castillo Research Lab — Mucosal Immunology
Dr. Eliseo Castillo's laboratory investigates the role of macrophages and intestinal epithelial cells in gut health, with a focus on inflammatory bowel disease and metabolic syndrome. The lab also explores the effects of environmental pollutants, including microplastics, on gastrointestinal health.
Lin Research Lab — IBS and Functional GI Disorders
Dr. Henry Lin is an internationally recognized expert in irritable bowel syndrome and functional GI disorders. His team leads a translational research program focused on host-gut bacterial interactions, and Dr. Lin serves on multiple scientific committees overseeing gastroenterology research worldwide.
