The Department of Internal Medicine will be the state-of-the-art regional resource, demonstrating excellence and innovation in patient care, education and research. We will live this mission in a supportive environment, encouraging open communication, respect for diversity and cooperative interaction. 

Staff Mission Statement 

A large, progressive department with a diverse staff, we collaborate in organized teams to provide quality, effective and efficient work through innovation, training and education. Together, we support the faculty and enhance the missions of the department, school, Health Sciences Center and University.
