The LARC Mentoring Program as part of the Division of Adolescent Medicine at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center and the Department of Pediatrics is partnering with the following organizations: The Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health, Beyond the Pill Program at the University of California, San Francisco; the NM Perinatal Collaborative; the NM Department of Health, Family Health Bureau; the NM Human Services Department; the New Mexico Alliance for School Based Health; the New Mexico Primary Care Association; NM Medicaid Program; the LARC Working Group and FQHCs, SBHCs, hospitals, and community based organizations across the state. The LARC Mentoring Program is supported by members of the Early Childhood Funders Group and the New Mexico Department of Health.
The LMP aims to improve reproductive autonomy of all people of reproductive age in New Mexico by increasing access to all forms of contraceptives.
