The Contraception Mentoring Program as part of the Division of Adolescent Medicine at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center and the Department of Pediatrics is partnering with the following organizations: The Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health, Beyond the Pill Program at the University of California, San Francisco; the NM Department of Health, Family Health Bureau; the NM Human Services Department; the New Mexico Alliance for School-Based Health; the New Mexico Primary Care Association; NM Medicaid Program; the NM Contraception Access Working Group and FQHCs, SBHCs, hospitals, and community-based organizations across the state. The Contraception Mentoring Program is supported by the New Mexico Department of Health.
The Contraception Mentoring Program (CMP) aims to improve reproductive autonomy by increasing access to all contraceptive methods for all people of reproductive age in New Mexico.
