The Department of Pediatrics in the University of New Mexico School of Medicine has developed a brief 90-minute training webinar to deliver essential clinical knowledge and skills for pediatric care providers to implement Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) with adolescent patients. We are conducting a pilot evaluation of provider satisfaction with the adolescent SBIRT brief training module and its impact on perceived competence to implement SBIRT as well as knowledge and comprehension of basic SBIRT clinical skills and techniques.

We are evaluating a brief, web-based training on delivering Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) services for adolescents in pediatric primary care. Your feedback will help us assess the usefulness and effectiveness of this training for healthcare providers.

- Pediatricians - Nurse Practitioners - Physician Assistants - Nurses - Other Pediatric Care Providers

- Watch a pre-recorded SBIRT training module (~90 minutes) - Complete brief online surveys before and after the training - Total time commitment: 2 to 2.5 hours, completed at your convenience
