Why UNM is My Choice for Residency: When I interviewed at UNM, everyone was so friendly and genuinely happy to be here. The residents and staff all seemed truly happy to be practicing together and could count on each other. I have never felt as welcome anywhere before, and I based my decision largely around wanting to be part of this family. Also, I grew up in the southwest. It's great to be in this environment and to have the mountains just outside my window, as well as to know that family is just a few hours away.
Favorite Things About UNM: I love how close the residents are and how much the staff look out for us.
Favorite Things About NM: I love the mountains - and board games with other residents.
