Why UNM is My Choice for Residency: I chose UNM because I loved the program and following the interview, I knew that UNM is a hidden gem. I noticed that many of the individuals who interviewed me used to be residents at UNM at some point. This was very reassuring. I loved the patient population in NM and the fact that UNM hospital provides great learning experience, with the most complex cases all around NM being sent there.

Favorite Things About UNM: There is a positive, healthy environment that translates into a more comfortable and even joyful residency experience. I feel supported and I am constantly being guided towards a path of improvement and success.

Favorite Things About NM: I love the mountains and how the sky looks like a painting everyday. I love the diversity of people I meet daily and their kindness and hospitality.
