Why UNM is My Choice for Residency: I completed medical school in Las Cruces, NM, and I really liked the Southwest. I chose to rank UNM because they serve all the children of New Mexico. I also appreciated the mission of helping underserved communities. I also liked the medium-sized residency class.
Favorite Things About UNM: Since starting at UNM, I really appreciate how patient, supportive, and knowledgeable the attendings and fellows are. And I love working with my seniors and fellow interns.
Favorite Things About NM: I am still exploring Albuquerque. I like the variety of restaurants, and the hiking options. And I love how sunny NM is.
