Why UNM: With every interaction I had with UNM, everyone from pediatrics / pediatric neurology was so kind and caring. They were generally interested in my interests and were encouraging me in my career regardless of where I went to. It was also inspirational to see people so invested in their community, making long- and short-term differences. Ultimately I saw myself becoming the physician that I wanted to be at UNM, and that has been my experience since starting!

Favorite Things About UNM: My class is supportive of each other and the learning environments are optimal for my growth. Albuquerque is also a great city to enjoy my time off on; there are always events happening on the weekends and great places to hike and enjoy nature both in and outside of the city.

Favorite Things About NM: I love all things chile! I also love how welcoming people are in New Mexico. It is an easy drive to beautiful landmarks and anything you could want you can find in New Mexico - hiking, skiing, apple picking, and more without the humidity!
