Why UNM: I did a sub-I at UNM and fell in love with it. Every resident and attending I met was so supportive and the residents were friends with each other and hung out outside of work. Also, UNM serves a huge geographic area so I knew I’d get good exposure to bread-and-butter peds but also the zebras. Plus, we have a resident union! |

Favorite Things About UNM: The people! The people, both co-residents and faculty, are incredible. I also love the view from Tully, our workroom where we do sign out and didactics. |

Favorite Things About New Mexico: The mountains remind me a lot of home! I’ve loved exploring both the Sandias and the Jemez. Albuquerque has basically no traffic which is awesome! |
