Why UNM: During my interview, I really felt like the entire program was oriented around resident success. We have a great culture and I feel like I can turn to literally any resident or faculty member for help. There are tons of resources for research/fellowship, and I feel like we really value our time outside of the hospital. I also wanted to be somewhere pretty and NM has plenty of mountains, deserts, and everything in between.

Favorite Things About UNM: Teamwork! My seniors are always looking out for me and asking if I need help.

Favorite Things About NM: I love hiking, biking, and running, so the mountains here are perfect. There are also a lot of good restaurants popping up, and the downtown/university area is very trendy.
