Applicants who have not completed NURS 240 Pathophysiology II, NUTR 2110 Human Nutrition, and/or NURS 224 Lifespan Growth and Development, or an equivalent course prior to submitting their application may be considered on a case-by-case basis. These courses may be taken during the first semester of the program depending on the student’s course load.
There are 59 credits of required nursing coursework within the program plus 6 credits of other required coursework. During the first semester of the program, there are two courses (NURS 224: Lifespan Growth and Development & NUTR 2110 Human Nutrition) that are required and some applicants may not have taken these courses in their prior bachelor’s program. Each course is three credits.
If you have taken one or both of these courses prior to starting the program, they may transfer into your program and reduce the number of credits required during your first semester.
There is not a entrance exam requirement for the Accelerated 2nd Degree BSN Option.
