Research Challenge Display & Safety Volunteer Training
This training will prepare Display and Safety volunteers to conduct safety inspections of student displays using the Display & Safety Checklist. Volunteers will learn how to identify potential safety concerns, apply the appropriate guidelines, and accurately document the results of each inspection.
Training will cover:
Overview of the Display & Safety (D&S) volunteer role
Introduction to ISEF Display & Safety Regulations
How to use the Display & Safety Checklist
Identifying common safety and compliance issues
Reviewing student displays for required safety measures
Proper documentation of inspection findings
How to communicate concerns with students and/or Research Challenge staff
When to ask for assistance or escalate an issue
Practice inspections using sample student projects
