Our CNAH team of public and community health professionals offers health education and public health development. We also help to bridge the resources of the University of New Mexico to Native American communities across New Mexico. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we are urging our relatives of all Native Nations, Pueblos, and Tribes, and urban Native American communities, to seek the advice and follow the suggested practices of their local health care provider about the coronavirus, COVID-19 and to visit online sites for news and updates.
Recommended sites include:
“2019 NOVEL CORONAVIRUS DISEASE (COVID-19)”, (You can track the number of cases in NM by county at this site and access additional resources.) https://cv.nmhealth.org/
The CNAH Team stands ready to assist the leaders and health officials of all NM Native Nations, Pueblos, and Tribes, and urban Native American communities. If assistance is needed, please call 505-272-4100, or send an inquiry to hsc-cnah@unm.edu.
