Excellence in Health Equity

UNM HSC providers believe everyone deserves access to resources and opportunities that support health and well-being. We work with our partners to understand and eliminate inequities in care and tackle the social determinants of health—so all New Mexicans can participate, prosper, and reach their full potential and live their healthiest life.

Lisa Cacari Stone, PhD

I believe that solutions to achieve health equity reside in our diverse communities in New Mexico.

While we have distinct legacies, we also have a shared destiny in assuring our next generations have opportunities to resources that promote health, well-being and cultural resiliencies.

I am honored to be leading the "Health Equity Conversations and upcoming Summit" with an exciting network of statewide partners.

Together we are building a new model for change.
