UNM is the only comprehensive stroke center in the state, offering both timely protocol drive thrombolysis and invasive neuro-intervention for LVO (cerebral large vessel occlusion). Optimal stroke care hinges on our talented multi-disciplinary and multi-professional team and adherence to our neuro-resuscitation guidelines.
UNM EDRU takes pride in optimizing cardiac arrest care through implementation of an ACLS delivery system that includes automated CPR, roles based team resuscitation, peri-arrest TEE and V-A ECMO when indicated.
