Sarah Groover, MD 

I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the UNM Family Medicine Residency Program! Growing up a military brat, I've had the privilege of experiencing diverse communities in the US and abroad, instilling in me a deep appreciation for the unique needs of each patient. Prior to attending medical school at the University of Colorado, I completed a PhD in immunology at Oklahoma State University. Choosing Family Medicine was an easy decision—I want to be equipped to care for every body across all stages of life. My particular interests include women’s health, prison medicine, medical education, and clinical procedures. Outside of medicine, I love going hiking and camping with my dog Podrick, watching movies, and cooking for my friends. I am ready to fall in love with New Mexico, and I’m looking forward to serving this community.
