I was raised in Taos, NM and after moving back east for undergraduate studies, was thrilled to return to New Mexico for medical school. I chose Family Medicine because it allows for comprehensive, relationship-centered care, and considers the whole person within the context of their family, community, and the broader systems that shape health.
I am passionate about maternal and child health, gender-affirming care, addiction medicine, and care for incarcerated populations. I value Family Medicine’s breadth and its integration with public health, as well as its focus on preventative care and health equity.
I am so grateful to continue my training at UNM, and to join a long standing tradition of providing compassionate, community-rooted care to such a diverse population. New Mexico’s beauty, complexity, and resilience inspire me and I am truly honored to be here.
