The University of New Mexico Department of Neurology seeks a board certified, or board eligible Neurologist to join our Multiple Sclerosis/ Neuroimmunology team. The MS faculty will be part of a care team that manages MS, NMO, and other neuroimmune disorders in the outpatient clinic. The MS division is staffed with a full time RN, MA, PA, PharmD, Pharm tech and patient care coordinator to support patients and faculty.

UNM Neurology seeks a Neurodevelopmental Disabilities specialist to join our Child Neurology team and help lead efforts in New Mexico to improve the care of children and adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities. The position will be part of a team of faculty providing quality patient care in the inpatient and outpatient setting at UNM Hospital and will help lead the Continuum of Care clinic in coordination with UNM Pediatrics. The Continuum of Care clinic is a state-funded clinic designed to facilitate proper care during transition to adulthood for patients with developmental disabilities. Adult or Child Neurologists interested in neurodevelopmental disabilities or transitions of care are also encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary group of Neurology faculty in providing quality patient care in the inpatient neurohospitalist, stroke service and teleneurology service at UNM Hospital. Additionally, the position will assume on-call responsibilities for adult clinical services with fellow providers and participate in tele-neurology services.
Academic responsibilities include participation in teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows and research activities of the department.
