The Section for Child Safety and Well-Being provides didactic and clinical rotation education to health professions learners in medicine, nursing, physiatry, and social work. We also provide education to non-medical professionals and community partners working in child maltreatment related fields. See Fellowship information here.
SafeCare NM ECHO is a telehealth program that provides mentorship and support to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders tasked with responding to maltreatment throughout New Mexico.
The Section for Child Safety and Well-Being also provides education to families caring for children with histories of child maltreatment, and to families working with children with problem sexual behaviors.
