Why UNM is My Choice for Residency: UNM offers an excellent training environment. The patient variety and volume are appropriate to gain necessary exposure to pediatric conditions while not being overwhelming. Fellow residents and attendings provide a collegial environment that fosters learning in a safe setting.
Favorite Things About UNM: This mid-size residency program is filled with residents who feel like family. Program leaders are attentive to resident needs and advocate for resident well-being.
Favorite Things About NM: Outdoor activities abound. I enjoy taking my family hiking most weekends. The views are amazing and the trails are extremely close to home.
