Why UNM is My Choice for Residency: I chose to rank UNM because it had everything I was looking for in a program and it was close enough to home. When I came here, everyone seemed to genuinely like each other on/off work - a sentiment I know now to be true.
Favorite Things About UNM: The people! From my co-interns, to my intern buddy, to senior residents, peds staff, nurses and attendings; everyone has been great to work with. Plus all the outdoor stuff to do here is an excellent bonus, especially during this pandemic time when things to do inside are limited.
Favorite Things About NM: Anything outdoors or anything with my co-peds residents or some psych residents whom I've met through rotations.
