Why UNM is My Choice for Residency: UNM remains my top choice because they provide a well-rounded clinical experience with a diverse patient population, enthusiastic attendings/faculty that provide top-level care, and a resident team that is equally engaged and motivated to provide the best healthcare to the surrounding communities. Simply put, this is a great place to learn. The vibe during the interview season lived up to it's name. I am happy to be a resident here as part of the UNM team!

Favorite Things About UNM: My co-interns - they are amazing, thoughtful, and caring individuals. 

Favorite Things About NM: Being able to enjoy the changing seasons, the multitude of good coffee spots, the artsy vibe, and the abundant outdoor activities that are available on any given week, including awesome live shows, outdoor markets, farmers markets, and art events. Another great thing is that traffic is non-existent in comparison to southern California, where I used to live.
