Why UNM is My Choice for Residency: I chose UNM because all my interviewers were fantastic, and everyone I met seemed very kindhearted. I love the size of the program. It’s big but not too big. I was also interested in moving to a new area and the desert is beautiful. There are so many things to do outdoors.
Favorite Things About UNM: I love my co-residents! Residency overall can be very draining, but I love the people I’m with day in and day out and they very quickly became my BFFs.
Favorite Things About NM: I love how outdoorsy it it here. There are so many trails to hike and bike. The summers are hot but tolerable, and the winters are very mild. There’s a lot of diversity here and there are so many customs and traditions that make the city and state unique.
