Why UNM is My Choice for Residency: It is important to me to attend a program that not only works with a diverse population, but also puts efforts into understanding the rich complexities of the different cultures it serves in order to provide better care.

Favorite Things About UNM: I am so deeply grateful for how supportive my co-residents are, and how everyone looks out for each other's well-being.

Favorite Things About NM: I love the quick accessibility to the mountains and how easily I've been able to squeeze in a quick hike, climb, or ski run before work! Aside from the nature, I love the quirky Albuquerque population, the live music/DJs downtown, and the numerous food trucks scattered throughout the city.
