Learning Objectives: (1) To elucidate Stanford Health Equity, Advocacy, and Research (HEARs) program's origins and its mission to promote health equity in local underserved communities. (2) To elaborate on the creation of the HEARs program, including the initial needs assessment and steps taken to establish the program. (3)To showcase the impact and initiatives led by 2022-2023 HEARs resident leadership, highlighting specific projects and their contributions to health equity. (4)To delve into the barriers faced when implementing Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Initiatives and the strategies employed to overcome them.
