Learning Objectives:
(1) To elucidate Stanford Health Equity, Advocacy, and Research (HEARs) program's origins and its mission to promote health equity in local underserved communities.
(2) To elaborate on the creation of the HEARs program, including the initial needs assessment and steps taken to establish the program.
(3)To showcase the impact and initiatives led by 2022-2023 HEARs resident leadership, highlighting specific projects and their contributions to health equity.
(4)To delve into the barriers faced when implementing Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Initiatives and the strategies employed to overcome them.

• While you are NOT required to be a national SNMA member to participate, membership is highly encouraged.
• All abstracts will be reviewed and acceptances will be notified.
• RMEC will be virtual this year so we will be utilizing an online platform which you will receive more info about at a later date.

• NOTE: We do accept oral presentations, HOWEVER you will be automatically ineligible for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes or placement.
