COVID Office Hours

  • During social distancing mandates related to COVID-19, SOMREO staff are available remotely. The SOMREO office doors will be locked. SOMREO office hours will be held via Zoom. Office hours are held M-F from 10 AM to 3 PM.

SOM REO Walk-In Hours


Walk-in hours are for students, faculty, and staff.

Students: Walk-in hours are great for dropping off paperwork, having us conduct a student record reviews, getting your questions answered, updating us about your plans, bragging about your accomplishments, talking about career plans, etc.


We will have a staff person available M-F from 10 AM to 3 PM except when the office is closed (see below).

The Process:

Check in at the front desk for walk-in hours, take a seat in the waiting area, and someone will be out to call you in once they finish up with other students. We track all walk-in hour visitors even for small questions. So, please get started by signing in.


Outside of these hours, we may not have staff available in the office and the office doors may be locked. So, outside of 10 AM to 3 PM, we welcome you to schedule an appointment if needed by contacting us at

Office closing/walk-in hour cancellations:

Occasionally, the office may need to cancel walk-in hours for events such as University holidays (listed at, 2 hour delay and campus closings due to inclement weather announced via Lobo Alerts, interview visits, program orientations, student research days, staff training, etc. These cancelation dates will always be announced in advanced via the SOMREO digest. Upcoming canceled walk-in hours are:

  4. July 5, 2021 - Independence Day (Observed)
